The Hollies - Concert Review

Southend, Cliffs Pavilion, 6th March 2004 - by Norma

As usual, the Cliffs Pavilion was full for the "Hollies", a rather mixed crowd this time with quite a few younger people in the audience.

Carl Wayne said he had a touch of Laryngitis, but you would not know as his singing was up to his usual standard.

The production was a lot different from their last show at the Cliffs, with a back drop showing them playing their instruments and adverts from the early years. The audience were waiting for the popular "He ain't heavy, he's my brother" but they kept it for their encore.

As usual a brilliant show with a good mixture of numbers.
